This is either my great or great great grandfather My grandfather (Herbert George Pashley jackson)was born out of wedlock to a Mary Anne Jackson she never married the father who was frederick William Pashley so i am trying to get information as i do not live in the uk and my own father Arthur George Jackson has passed away so Herbert George Pashley Jackson is my dads father I hope u can understand this cheers

This is my to do with my grandfather Herbert George Pashley but didnt go by this he went by Herbert (Fred)George Jackson.His mother was Mary Anne Jackson she worked at the union workhouse in west beckham

My gradfather Herbert George Pashley Jackson (on his birth certificate it has Pashley in his name but on his marriage and death certificate it doesnt show Pashley) he was born out of wedlock so jackson is his mothers maiden name he didnt have much to do with Pashleys but my uncle (his son my dads brother) said they did pay for my grand fathers schooling his mother (my g.g.grandmother)migrated to australia and left him behind to b brought up with relatives He was born in the west beckham workhouse

HN Pashleys daughter Beatrice Minnie married Edward Harry Ramm, who is my Great Grandfather. He was a very well known ornithologist I believe and well respected in those circles.
