Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Very pleased to find this site. I have been researching Captain William Lumley whose ship ' Vicksburg' was foundered by ice 5 days out from Quebec in 1875. He had only married Emily Charlotte Pope in Nov 1874 in Quebec and this is the first clue I have had to what happened to her. Thank you so much.

I was very pleased to find your photograph of Captain William Lumley Bennett and "Emily Lumley'. I've been going over my research notes , endeavouring to find out why this headstone was in this particular cemetery. Mystery solved! William's step father Rev William Ashworth Cartledge was at Bilton from 1874 - 1879. Thanks and kind regards
