Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am distantly related to the Brewster family of Wrentham. John was a son of Francis Brewster and was baptized there 22.4.1604. He married Mary daughter of Augustine Scottowe alderman of Norwich. They named a son Augustine who was admitted to Lincoln's Inn 5.3.1668/9. They named a daughter Mary and she married William son of Sir Henry Mildmay. There is a portrait of her at Essex Record Office.

I am hoping the text will help me determine which John Brewster this is. There is an extensive Brewster family tree with quite a number of John's included amongst Williams, Roberts, Humphreys, Waldegraves etc and I am helping to add to it.
