Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

At the moment it's because my John Checketts who had a daughter Eleanor may be linked. My John had at least two of his children namely Thomas(1835)definite and Elizabeth(c1839) baptised in St Nicholas but in Worcester. His wife was a Jane Hadley of Cradeley in Herefordshire and they married 21 May 1829 Claines, Worcester. What I eventually hope to locate is the marriage register showing who John's father was and where John may have himself been born - there are rather a lot born around 1806 (via Census data) Sorry I can't offer any help just yet but I will happily pass back any outcomes if accepatble. What I find particularly moving about all this is that when I attended Worcester College up at Henwick Grove 1966-69 I had no idea my relatives had lived in the city and particularly in Angel Place at one time. I used to buy extra food there at weekends to supplement the College rations! This is a bit of a shot in the dark so apologies if it's putting you to alot of trouble.
