I am helping my cousin research a great grand uncle of his, Jack G Walker. His last known address as of August 26, 1992 was 61 Tweed Drive, Craigs Hill, Livingston, Lothian, Scotland. We know this for sure because a family member gave him an old letter with this return address. We know his birthdate is August 9, 1916 from a copy of his birth certificate also provided by the same relative. His parents are James Brown Walker (Born February 21, 1873 Died 1939 Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland ) and Annie Gracey (Born August 1, 1872 Govan, Renfrewshire, Scotland Died 1960 Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland) . His siblings are John Brown Walker (Born May 27, 1896 Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland Died November 28, 1976 New York, Margaret Walker, (Born about 1899), Robert Walker (Born April 21, 1901 Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland), Elizabeth Walker (Born August 3, 1904 Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland) and Annie Walker (Born August 12, 1907 Glasgow Died February 14, 1961 Glasgow Married someone with surname Fullerton). His paternal grandparents were Walter Lennox Walker and Margaret Brown. We also know he served in the Royal Navy during WWII. I am looking to locate living relatives as my cousin is planning a trip from New York to Scotland next year and would like to make contact with some of his cousins. Feel free to pass along any information I have noted in this email if you think it will help someone. This information was provided to my by my cousin so I can not guarentee the accuracy of it but it is to the best of his knowledge. I also have more info on the James Brown Walker line I am happy to share if someone is interested. I have been doing genealogy for over 15 years and have received the help of many random strangers so I am always happy to pay it forward if I can! I am not a professional genealogist by any means but if you know someone who needs a hand with Italian or US (particularly New York) research, I am happy to try and assist them in locating a record that has eluded them. I do not have much experience with UK records. Any help or potential information would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!! Kelley Bischoffer
