Robert de Carle (b Aug 1761) is a 5G uncle (on my mother's side). Robert's sister Anne de Carle being a 4G grandmother of mine (and the wife of the botanist James Sowerby). I hope in due course to discover who Robert's mother's parents were - his mother being Ann Carr (said to be the daughter of a Brettingham). I will be sending an acknowledged,went and a thank!
