Hi, He was the son of my Great Uncle nad I do a lot of research into the Beville family. I am getting as many images as I can to put in the family tree. Many thanks, Gren.

I have just discovered he was a cousin of mine and trying to find what I can on him and if he had any family. Can you possibly transcribe everything on the stone for clues?!! I want to try and trace his family. Many thanks indeed. Jonathan.

I know what you are saying about peoples lack of good manners - and I fear it will get much much worse in years to come. The internet and mobile phone are destroying the day to day courtesies that make society work!! Anyway, My reason for wanting a closer look at the grave in question, I am researching the Bevilles for a book in which they feature. Charles was one of three children born in Uruguay. Their mother then took up with a local man and abandoned them. Their father brought them back to England but sadly died, after which they went to lie with a auntie. best wishes, Nick

The gentleman was Political Agent Central India. Possibly a relative of Frederick Wells Beville, a physician/surgeon of Bath. FWB ordered a very rare sword from the Wilkinson Company in 1910 which was odd for a civilian to have done. It may have been for FGB who is the subject of my research
