For family research

Hello, I am interested in this image as I am a descendent of the deceased. My father is Ranulphus Carthew's Grandson, John Peter Carthew, as such he would have been my Great Grandfather. I have been tracing my paternal family history and have found there to be links to Woodbridge Abbey etc. Any help would be very much appreciated as I wish to pass on to future generations. At a time when families become so easily fragmented I feel our origins become somehow more important! Thank you, Carole Carthew

I am writing a book on Cambridgeshire seventeenth century tokens. RJ Carthew formed a significant collection that was sold in 1946 and I am researching him. I haven't been able to find a picture of him to include in the book. An illustration of his monument would provide a useful support of the text. I would be really pleased if you could forward this request to anyone who might might be able to provide a picture of the man himself. Many thanks in anticipation. Yours Sincerely Gary Oddie
