Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Dear Sir/Madam, I am currently researching family members lost during the great war. John Corney Benson was the Great Uncle of my father in-law, indeed he was named in his memory. I have very much enjoyed researching this person and have found his name on the Tyne Cot memorial in Belgium. I have been trying to find the local war memorial, church or cemetery where he may have been listed and was searching in whitby. It never occurred to me to search near by Aislaby. This is the final piece to the puzzle for the family and I. I am extremely grateful for the service your site provides. Excellent work. I would offer to help however am currently based in Germany with the forces. Best Regards, Carl Milburn
