This was also a hotel for wealthy immigrants awaiting ships to America. Alfred provided himself as a guide for the travelers on the ships as well and would travel with them to help get them settled in the new cities, once they arrived. Charlotte is buried with her son Alfred and great grandsons Alfred James III and John Prince. |
