Martha S Tait1817911908 Died at West Saltoun When MARTHA SYDSERFF HENDERSON was born on April 15, 1816, her father, WILLIAM, was 44 and her mother, MARTHA HEATLY, was 36. She married ALEXANDER TAIT on January 19, 1850, in Garvald, East Lothian. They had seven children in 16 years - Jane Turnbull Tait (1850-1851)Martha Heatly Tait (1850-1920)the second Jane Turnbull Tait (1852 - 1901) Alexander Tait (1854 -)William Henderson Tait (1858 - 1901)Maryanne Smith Tait (1863 - )and Mary Tait (1866 - ). She died on January 31, 1908, in West Saltoun, East Lothian, at the age of 91.
