51WalkerJames Walker71id: 11947255770461Cambridge. Late bishop of this Diocese and primus. His clergy and some lay friends have dedicated this monument tablet. Born 24th January; ordained Deacon 1793; ordained Priest 1805; consecrated bishop March 7th 1830; died March 5th.

52WoodburnJohn Woodburnid: 11864255748219144th Bengal Native Infantry and commandant of the 5th Disciplined Hinostanee regiment of infantry. In the service of his majesty the late Shah Soojah-Ool-Moolk; who nobly fell at the head of a small band of devoted followers; in action with an overpowering number of Ghilzie insurgents; near Ghuznee in Afghanistan; 4th November. This cenotaph has been erected by the surviving British officers of that service; friends and companions in arms; who deeply lamenting his untimely fate knew and admired his great skill as a soldier; his sterling worth and honesty as a man. John Woodburn was the son of David Woodburn and Janet Caldwell. He was born 20 Apr 1803 near Dalmellington, Ayrshire, Scotland. His father was Factor of the Craigengillan Estate. John enlisted as a Cadet in the Bengal Army in 1820.
John Woodburn Gillian Wing-commander; royal air force; D.F.C and bar A.F.C. Great grand nephew of John Woodburn; was lost in the channel after an air battle in August 1941; buried at Dunkirk. John Woodburn Gillan was born 1907 the son of Rev David Hedley Gillan and Helen Drummond. He was the great-grandson of David Woodburn and Janet Caldwell.
