REDD | Redd | Thank you very much for the photo of Mary Jane Besley's grave at St Decumans Church, Watchet, Somerset. She is my first cousin, 3 times removed. The grave also lists my great great great aunt, Mary and her husband John Besley. Two of their other children (also my distant cousins) are listed on the same gravestone. This has helped me confirm dates of death and ages. Many thanks. | 01/08/2017 | 8151 |

WEBSTER | Copyright | Hi Charles Thanks very much for the efforts in establishing the gravestone photographic system I have just one comment to make in regards copyright restrictions that you have attached to the photos. Some years ago I used to subscribe to an obscure magazine called Traction and Models. That magazine had a motto that lives with me to this very day 'information is of no use unless it is shared with others'. I would like you to think about this motto and reflect on your decision to apply copyright to the photos in your system. Regards Jim .... more | 30/07/2017 | 8140 |
BISHOP | BISHOPs in Devon | Many thanks for providing such a wonderful resource and for my latest find, the grave of Stanley Bishop and his daughter Wendy Jane Avril Vincent (nee Bishop), distant cousins of my wife. | 30/07/2017 | 8136 |
AVERY | Thank you, | With sincere thanks for the photograph of the gravestone of William and Ann Avery. Another clue as I research their story. Their son Richard migrated to Australia with his wife Martha in the late 1840'sm so it means a great deal to have that connection between my family in Australia and Richard's parents in England. | 29/07/2017 | 8124 |

GOOCH | Thank you | Thank you for your very prompt email and link to the gravestone picture for Esther And Edwin George Fry. I have quite an insight start into my mothers family tree but very very little on my Dads side and sadly no-one to ask now so this is just the start. The fact that I only knew him as George Fry and not Edwin George Fry certainly helps! Much appreciated

Next time he is in the UK I will take him to Rattlesden as James Mayes is his GGGGrandfather. I know the family lived in the Woolpit/Rattleden area and married into the Bird family through my Grandmother, Blanche Amelia whose husband (Oliver) and father both travelled to Australia in their early years before returning to Suffolk. | 26/07/2017 | 8107 |

BISHOP | The larger image solved a problem. | Thank you so much for sending the link to the picture of Thomas Bishop's grave in Beeston Regis churchyard. I have been researching him because he was one of the fishermen drowned in the Great Storm of 1807, along with five others including my 3 x gt. grandfather, Richard Little. I don't think he was related to me, though. The website wrongly lists his age at death as 88, whereas he was actually 33, so I thought this was the grave of a different Thomas Bishop, but with the larger picture I can see that it was not. Thank you for helping me to clear that up! | 21/07/2017 | 8076 |

WOOD | Thank you | Thank you for the photograph showing two generations of John Wood in Kirkby Malzeard. Fairly sure that these are ancestors of my wife but difficult to be certain since Baptism records only show the father and Wood is an extremely popular surname in the area. | 17/07/2017 | 8048 |
SAWFORD | Thanks | Many thanks for your very prompt and detailed reply to my request. I discovered the Gravestone Photographic Resource via an early enquiry into a Sawford relative on Ancestry, and have since learned that he died in 1891, and not 1957 as the gentleman in the photo. However, I am very grateful to learn of the work you do, and hope to return again in the future. | 17/07/2017 | 8041 |

GOOCH | Excellent Service | Dear Mr. Sale
Many thanks for your quick response. I've just started researching my family tree and it is very touching to see the final resting place of a great aunt (she was the same age as my father and he always referred to her as his cousin). I hope to request more photos as my ancestors are from mid Suffolk and the Norfolk/Suffolk border.
Regards
