I was requesting information on my 3xG-Grandparents -
Edward West and Margaret Alexander West from Richmond, Surrey, England.
One of their daughters, Emma Elizabeth West was my 2xG.
She married twice -
John Watson Montague Galloway - they lived in Lisbon area, Portugal and had children.
He died and she remarried -
John William Perkins - Analytical Chemist - in Brixton, England.
They lived in England and had 3 sons - only 2 lived.
Henry was my G-Grandfather.
Looking for Edward and Margaret's gravestones.

| HUBBERT | Hubbert of Sibsey | I am particularly trying to find William Hubbert born 1573, married to Ellen Costore and his parents William and Jeene Hubbert born about about 1530-40. I have found my line up to Sibsey and surrounding areas and I am now stuck without a birth record for either of the William Hubberts. I would also like to know if they built the first wooden bridge known as Hubberts Bridge to get their farm produce over to Boston.

I live in Australia but Born and Bread in England.In desperate search for Headstone or grave Photographs of my Family and Ancestors In the Lyme Regis Cemetery, Dorset, England.The Cemetery that is on the Charmouth to Lyme Regis Road.In search of Gollops, Louds, Rattenbury, Roberts, Cooks, But main ones are Gollop and Louds from Lyme Regis and Louds also from all over Axminster Cemeteries, the others are ancestors.Most of my relatives are now deceased in the Uk and so far away for me to travel back and forth.I have contributed to this site in the Past on the Leggett connections and this is a great site, keep up the good work.Other comments i would like to add which is hard to find are our relitives in the olden days who are buried in unmarked graves a section on this site from church records recording the detials would be a godsend for Geonology search,as in the cemeteries no records are shown in unmarked graves, despite we know they were buried there. especially where no Headstone was available in the cemeteries, but alot of work would be involved in this huge task.Hopefully one day this task could be done sometime in the future. | 12/07/2014 | 4430 |
