Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am currently researching a number of former Kent County cricketers who served in WW1. Walter Coote Hedley is one of those men. He had a long distinguished career with the Royal Engineers, serving in the Boer War and WW1. He was very involved in the department of map making and worked with the Ordnance Survey. I am trying to build up as much information as I can on him, and have been in touch with his old school and collected papers on his service and cricket career. I would be interested in a copy of this image of his last resting place, and hope this is possible. I am hoping to publish a book about the cricketers service (non profit, or rather any profits to the Poppy Appeal) and if it were agreeable, and if the image were used, I would happily put an acknowledgement in there. If a donation is required then I would certainly consider that. Best wishes, Paul

I am researching the life of WC Hedley and am interested in adding an image of his resting place to the information I have. He was a very interesting character - apparently took on TE Lawrence at the war office and suggested him for service in Egypt/Palestine in WW1.

My son is called Andrew Coote Heywood: my grandmother was Col Walter Coote Hedley's daughter. Oddly enough, it was my father's maternal Grandfather whom lived in Sunningdale where my father grew up for a short bit. My father did not see his parents much from the age of 5 to eleven because of the second world war. I wish to follow the Coote side back of the family back to what I imagine is Charles Johnson Coote who's daughter Catherine (Kate) Coote, whom I think married a Hedley. There seem to be two Robert Hedley's, a father and son, one of whom married Kate. They are quoted in the Elizabeth Bennett Browning correspondence, and I also seem to recall my father mentioning a Coote marrying a Bennett but I cannot remember the details. Separate, I am looking into what various family members did during WW1.
