St Andrew's Church burial ground, Ashby Puerorum
Built in the 13th Century and added to over the centuries that followed, this is a very remotely located church in the Lincolnshire Wolds. As with many of the churches in this area it is plain but beautiful inside and with spectacular views outside. The gravestones outside are few, taking up perhaps only two thirds of the entire graveyard. Some of the stones have been stacked against the fence and two or three have been leant against a large tree. Many are totally indecipherable due to lichen and weather damage.
The GPR holds 36 grave and 78 person records for the burial ground.
There have been 2796 requests for photographs from the burial ground.
