Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Dear Sir or Madam The daughter of John and Ann Goodenough (nee Maxwill) was Elizabeth Goodenough. Elizabeth Goodenough emigrated to Australia on the ship Bussorah Merchant in 1833. This was the first ship that took assisted single women emigrants to Australia. She married Richard Phillips in 1834 in Sydney, Australia and later moved to Geelong, Victoria. Elizabeth is my great (x4) grandmother and was born in Slough and baptised in Sunbury on Thames. Thank you for your help. W Phillips

I love genealogy and photos add so much more to the story. I live in Australia. I am John and Ann Goodenough's great great great great great grandaughter and I can't believe there is a tombstone from so long ago and even better a photo. I am very grateful to you for taking the photo and I would love a copy if possible. Thank you so much. Kind regards Rhonda Underwood

Ann Goodenough is the 4th Great Grandmother of Terrence Howard Young, and I would like to trouble you for John Goodenough too, whose family tree I am researching on his behalf. The tree can be sourced on Ancestry.com under the heading Youngs of Ballarat. My goodness, you must be inundated by requests, thank you for all your work. If I can do anything from here in Aus to help let me know. Kind regards, Angela Johnson - lexigist@yahoo.com.au
