I believe this to be Donald Harper born 1851 in Pulteney Caithness who would be the son of Donald Harper & Jessie Heddle. Donald Snr was a bro of my gr gr grandfather.

Because my Great Grandfather, Donald Harper, went to South Australia from Wick in the 1870's or 80's and I think he may have been related to the Donald listed on this gravestone. I'm not sure exactly how I can help, but am open to suggestions. Thanks for a great service. Phillip

I believe this inscription to be members of the family of my great grandmother Margaret Dunnet nee Bremner of Freswick. Her sister Catherine Bremner married Donald also Bremner of Wick. THEIR daughter Catherine nee Bremner married Donald Harper. I believe this is the Harper family gravestone. I would very much appreciate a photograph of the stone. Regards J. Pascall
