Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Alexander Manson is my maternal great grand father. Other names on the stone are of his two sons killed during World War One. One of them,also, Alaexander Manson was my maternal grandfather; he was killed in 1917.

Alexander Manson was my maternal great grandfather and Jane Campbell was my maternal great grandmother. The other alexander Manson was my maternal grandfather; he was killed 17 February 1917 in France and his name is inscribed on the Wick war memorial; he died aged 38 and was in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers. Charles Manson was the first of many to die 15 June 1915 at Festubert in France; he was in the 5th Bn Seaforth Highlanders and his name is on the Wick memorial. You have put a lot of effort into this project.
