Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I live in the house that was built for John Horne and his wife Margaret Morrison - Norland, in Ayr. I only discovered information about John Horne two days ago and am now building a family tree for him and his wife (and the other Horne who lived here at the same time, Janet Taylor Robertson (nee Horne) and her husband). Obviously, members of the Horne family are not potential cousins but I would be happy to make contact with any of Donald Horne's descendents who have an interest in learning more about this house where John Horne (a Baptist Minister!) lived for about five years, until his death in 1934.
