My g-g grandfather was Jonas Stead who married Elizabeth Summerscales. Elizabeth had a brother called William Thomas Summerscales who married Isabella Stead, my g-g- grandfathers sister. The Summerscales came from Lincoln, Lincolnshire but moved to Bramley at the early death of William Thomas Summerscales and Isabella. Their children (William Thomas John shown in this grave and his sisters and brothers) came over to Bramley where the Stead's lived. William Thomas John Summerscales was a nephew to my g-g- grandfather and he and his children are buried here. The Farrer family was related through marriage with 2 of my g-g-grandfathers sisters.
