Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

For the last year I have been researching my family history. Sidney Ward was my uncle, who died before I was born. Sidney, one of nine children born to Lilian and Herbert Ward, was 18 years old when he died from Rheumatic Fever. Three of Sidney's siblings are now (2015) aged 87, 89 and 90. I remember visiting this cemetery with my father in about 1995.
