Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Osmond is a relative. My paternal grandmother's father is his uncle. I think that makes me a second cousin.....I also have seemed to have become our family's researcher, and I have often shared images and other information with my siblings families and cousins. The world war one history has not been a priority, but I have only recently discovered that Osmond was said to have been @heavily gassed while serving in France, and also that another relative on my mother's side( he paternal uncle, died while fighting in France. So I have become more interested in the dreadful and cruel war. If I can help- I am not sure that I can- ask. I will say yes if there is anything practical I can do.
