Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I have traced our heritage to 1703 I at first thought t hat was James Birth. My cousin who is deceased (Carlis B. Wilson, Family Research) said he hit a brick wall with James Wilson , I've always been told by my father deceased 2001 @ 81 that our descendents were from Scotland. We live in the mountains of Appalachia Tennessee, but born in Kentucky 1950, Where I live nearly everyones descendants were from Scotland, Ireland, & some called Scots Irish, making me believe these are Ulster Scots if I can find where our ancestors immigrated from we would love to visit. Thank you Daryl Wilson

I recently started this heritage quest searching for my birth farther (not heard from in any way since 1970) In my mind my aim was to make contact with my 2 half brothers Marc & Shaun Wilson (mother: Lorna or Loraine Wilson from Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand) The best I have discovered re: direct descended from is my birth father died 2005 • Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand. I have exhausted myself trying to discover his(Edward Samuel Wilson's 1944 • Dundee, Angus, Scotland):resting place & my grandmothers (Constance Rutter Robertson, Wilson's as well) Constance Rutter Robertson Wilson 1916–1986 Birth 1 JUNE 1916 • Dundee, Angus, Scotland Death SEPT 1986 • Melbourne, Victoria, Australia paternal grandmother , I cant even find a wrong name funeral, obituary, or any kind of death notice. But in saying that I am very financially restricted re: the types of information I can have access to. so I have so enjoyed gathering the rellies I so far have on my tree I am Immensely Grateful For the volunteers & ur own contributions and time and care to offer these visual jigsaw (photographs) pieces that r the start of a complete person & this sense of Family & belonging is sometimes so overwhelming after feeling like a barren desert for all my life. Your generous gifts r the start of my new family boasts 7 I will proudly display them & know them to pass down to my daughter the tales and photographs of where she came from her family, she will never Know that feeling of aloofness and isolation I did for so long because she has family. Thank you so so much: Your friend Kimberley Jayne Wilson
