Thomas Wilson grave monument in All Saints Church burial ground, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England

My wife is a Wilson and is a member of this family who lived at Forest Hall

I originally requested a copy of this image several weeks ago but I have now found out that my email system (talktalk) has been misbehaving and many items have gone astray. So I would be obliged if you could possibly resend this image. My reasons for requesting this image are primarily that the Wilsons are my wife's ancestors and we have been researching this family for many years. Tyne and Wear archives advised us that the All Saints graveyard was totally remodelled when the church was rebuilt, so you can imagine our surprise to find that a monument does still exist with many familiar family names inscribed on it. What we would like to do now is compare this info against our acquired information and of course to include the photo in her family history document and to share this with her numerous cousins in the UK, Australia, South Africa and Canada.

On behalf of my wife, L H Wilson, I have been researching her ancestors for many years and whilst we were aware that many of her ancestors were buried at All Saints NUT, we had been advised by T&W Archives that the graveyard had been totally remodelled and that most gravestones had been lost. You can imagine our surprise therefore to find out from your excellent site that the Wilson gravestone had somehow not only survived but had been photographed by one of your volunteers. We would very much like to receive a copy of this image and to copy it onwards to her numerous cousins!! Thanking you in anticipation. Mike Brewster

This may be my 6th great grandfather. I am trying to construct a detailed family tree for my daughter as our family is small and far flung so she (and 8h is unaware of much of her history. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
