Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

A few years ago I purchased an amazing collection of letters belonging to a Mildred Taylor nee Stewart who was the sister of Kathleen Martin/Stewart. This collection is vast and includes China Missionary letters, photographs of the family [including Kathleen] even, locks of their hair. It includes the letter that Mildred received from the War Department telling of Kathleen's death in Stanley Internment camp on 19th Jan 1945. The collection includes the whole family effectively beginning with the massacre of Kathleen's parents and a brother and sister in 1895 China from which Kathleen then aged 11 survived. It is a remarkable tale of Faith, and one which I am humbly attempting to transcribe. I feel that their story and Kathleen's must be told, and this photo image will add to that story. Thank you
