Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

James and Elizabeth were my husbands 2nd Great Grandparents. Elizabeth Crowder Nee Dawes was born in Mansfield 1825. They married in Newark in 1846. James was born at Aston on Trent Derbyshire in 1820, he was a Wheelwright. After Elizabeths death, James married Hannah Thompson born c1836 at Lynn Norfolk although her family were living in Newark.James and Hannah had 1 child Kate born 1877. Hannah died in 1913 at Skipton in Yorkshire where she lived with her daughter.

I believe that Elizabeth may be my 3rd Great Grandmother, but as of Jan 2022 I am still investigating this. Currently the line for my paternal grandfather is somewhat of a mystery that I am working to unravel.
