Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

John H. Erhardt was my grandfather. He was killed before my mother was two years old. Sadly, the mission on which he was killed was to be the final mission before he was allowed to return home. My mother is 71 years old and she has asked me to track down information about her family. We only found out recently about the circumstances of his death at Reedham Marshes. My mother is not in good health and a visit to England is out of the question for her; if I can obtain a copy of the monument image for her I would be very grateful. We have been fortunate that we live in Maryland, close to where he is buried at Arlington Cemetery, Virginia, and have been able to visit his grave. Oddly, my great-grandparents and grandmother always insisted that his body is not in Arlington, but left behind in England, which is why images of where he died are important to my mother. Thank-you for any help you are able to give me.

John H. Erhardt is my Grand Uncle, his brother Earle B. Erhardt is my grandfather. I travel quite frequently to London, England and hope to be near Reedham, England sometime during the summer months of 2018. I hope to visit the cemetery and the memorial to capture an image of this myself; however, in the meantime I would love a copy for my family research page via Ancestry.com (Darlene Patricia Righter Family Tree). A copy would be great supporting documentation for our records which hopefully, will assist future generations in their research. Darlene P Righter-Bachman bachman66@aol.com

John H Erhardt is my Uncle. His brother Earle B. Erhardt is my father. I have been to his grave site in Arlington. I would like to add this image of the monument to other documents of family history for future generations.
