Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Ralph Melville Archer, was the only son Alexander Thomson Archer & Elizabeth nee Ruddock, of Southampton. Alexander had six siblings, they and his parents all went to Australia & New Zealand. Therefore Ralph was the last Archer link we had with England.(he died without issue) I have been searching for his death/burial for years, thanks to British digital newspapers, and by chance finding your terrific site, I can now put him to rest.! He was a Professor of Physics, and taught in Derby, (where I have been searcing fruitlessly for him),but according to the newspaper he died at 116 Beading road Farnborough, where he had worked at the Air Force Experimental Establishment since about 1918. THANK YOU THANK YOU
