Am researching history of Kintrockat House near Brechin (also known as Eskmount), which was a Hunter property. A G Hunter took publisher John Murray there in 1806 - to riotous parties!

I'm carrying out research into the Hunters of Balskelly and Blackness. They seem to be connected to Dundee and the County of Angus in particular the Town of Carnoustie. My research involves a son of Alexander Hunter - David who was instrumental in the development of golf both at Scotscraig and Carnoustie in the Parish of Barry but I'm still confused as to who the proper family are.

Still researching the Hunters. Anne is said to be daughter of Alexander Gibson Wright?
