Hi - came across your brilliant site this evening and undertaking ancestry into Chalmers family tree - I have traced one branch to Texas where they emigrated to from Scotland to and set up a gelatine factory! Think this grave could be linked into my family. Grateful for your help. Thank you. Liz (Bristol UK)

I believe that a Mr j Wilson was the maker of a very old grandfather clock this clock we believe was built in the late 1700's early 1800's so we believe it could well be 200-250 years old my research is based on the book (old Scottish clock makers from 1453-to 1850)Authored by John Smith clock maker And it is my father-in-law who owns this clock As he is turning 70 I would like to print these photos off to accompany the book that I can purchase online for his 70th and as he doesn't know the history I thought this would make a great present I would very much appreciate all 4 images that are associated with this man I am going to thankyou in advance for your time it will be much appreciated.
