I'm trying to sort out the branches of the Empsall family from the Hipperholme area. Most used Lightcliffe St Matthew as their church Most particularly I'm trying to relate Abraham Empsall b 1756 to Joshua b about 1750, and the registers stop being useful around that date. So other records are invaluable. Many Thanks!

Family ancestry - they were great grandparents of my grandmother Florence Owen nee Lee who is also buried with her husband at the back of this cemeetery
(requested on 09 06 2013)
I believe this could be the grave of the grandparents of my great grandmother (Fanny Lee, nee Empsall), who was born in the area in 1859. Her parents were Samuel and Sarah Empsall. Also, I see that a previous requester mentions their grandmother Florence Owen, nee Lee, who I am certain was my grandfather's elder sister - I am keen to be put in touch with this cousin.
