I own a book with his book plate in the front (a volume of Horace, published in Utrecht in 1699 and rebound by Maltbys of Oxford about the turn of the 19th / 20th century) with a manuscript inscritption indicating ownership also by his son W[illiam] F[rederick] Witts, Coll Regal Cantab (i.e. King's COllege Cambridge) 1838. I have for something like 20 years now been gradually researchign the history of the previous owners of this volume; and internet resources such as this have of course made it so much easier to find additional material. Thank you so much!
