Baptised 01 Jul 1849 Middleton. He was the son of Thomas Masterson of Middleton and Mary Free of Middleton with Fordley (sic) Frederick died 22 May 1918 as was buried 25 May 1918 at Kirkley municipal cemetery grave K/D/103 the same grave as Anna. Frederick married Anna Maria Gower on 06 Mar 1870 at Lowestoft. Anna died 18 Jun 1930 and was buried 21 Jun 1930 at Kirkley municipal cemetery grave K/D/103 the same grave as her husband Frederick Anna Maria Gower was the daughter of William Gower and on his headstone as William (Goldsmith) Gower. I don’t know when he gave himself the additional name of Goldsmith, but it oozes class LOL. Her parents were William Gower and Charlotte Sarah Harper . Both buried at Lowestoft Municipal Cemetery grave L/4/67 William was from Fixton Suffolk and Charlotte was from Covehithe Suffolk. They married in Covehithe on 17 Jul 1842.
