Holy Trinity's Church burial ground, Hagworthingham

The church at Hagworthingham is likely to be Saxon in origin but extensive renovation was undertaken in the Victorian era. The church did have a tower until it collapsed in 1972. The graveyard to the rear of the church slopes down to a level much lower than the building. Some huge old gravestones have been stacked inscription side down and weeds have grown around them. Hopefully someone will have made a note of the inscriptions on them before they are ruined by frost.

The GPR holds 80 grave and 140 person records for the burial ground.

There have been 53 requests for photographs from the burial ground.

The latest details for the burial ground were added on 04 April 2014
