AYTONGravestone for children of Cockrell and Hannah ReadshawThis is a very useful resource and tanks are owed to Charles Sale for running the site. The gravestone image is a very useful confirmation of the Readshaw childern in Cockfield. Cockrell Readshaw died in 1806 and appears to have been buried in Hamsterley. Any further details would be welcomed.

VON FALKENHAUSENThank youThank you for satisfying my curiosity @ gravestonephotos.com . A lot can be learned from history and I believe gravestones gives us a glimpse into our ancestors life/death. I was keen to find out how my ancestors were buried and I was very glad you had a record from one of them. Seeing this particular gravestone, how ornate it was, makes me understand he did great things. I know some might think it's morbid, to look up gravestones, but I think it's inspiring to see how they were commemorated. Keep up with the excellent work! Thanks again, Val
